With a holding of 95%, ESB is majority owned by the Irish Government with the remaining 5% held by the trustees of an Employee Share Ownership Plan.

As a strong, diversified, vertically integrated utility, ESB operates right across the Irish electricity market currently supplying electricity to approximately 2.3 million customers. The company operates a range of assets across the Republic of Ireland and the UK including 9 hydro stations, 10 thermal stations and 18 wind farms.

The UK is a key growth market for ESB where it currently owns and operates 125 MW of wind farms and has recently built a new 884 MW CCGT gas fired power station at Carrington near Manchester.

Coriolis Energy and ESB have been working in partnership since early 2015 and have already delivered a consented wind farm site. ESB are a secure, long-term partner for all project stakeholders.
